RESEARCH

I am interested in developmental pathways to psychological well-being and achievement in adolescence and young adulthood. My research addresses three broad questions: (1) What is everyday creativity and what is its role in development? What is the relationship between everyday creativity with psychological well-being and achievement? (2) How do adolescents remember their experiences of positive and negative self-esteem? What can these memories of self-esteem experiences tell us about adolescents' aspirations and success in school? and (3) What themes in adolescents' relationships with parents and peers are related to their aspirations and achievement?
